We want our children to reach their potential: A deep connection to Allah, beautiful character, a cultivated mind, and Allah's blessings in this life and the next. The Prophet (s) compared human potential to a mine. From soil and rock, gold comes forth. In this seminar, learn how we can develop our children's potential.
Part of this is to understand our role and responsibilities as a parent on a daily basis. What mindset must we cultivate? What are the challenges particular to our time? How do we cultivate good Muslim citizens? What is the right balance of the spiritual and temporal? The other aspect is the education our children receive at school and in the masjid. What is essential to build their character? What will make them contributors to our civilization? This seminar will address both parenting and education, with two scholars who have years of experience in the field of parenting and education. Armed with these insights, and with Allah's help through duas, in sha Allah our children's potential will be like that of gold. Attend this seminar for these insights. The event is free, but we request participants to register. Register by clicking here or on the flyer above. Two Day Workshop | April 13th - 14th (Sat - Sun)

It is the very purpose of our existence. And yet, as in all journeys, there will definitely be hardhship. In the face of these difficulities, the nafs at times becomes weak and courage starts to wane. However, in every journey there are guides who have knowledge of the way. They lead the wayfarer to salvation through their knowledge and expereince. Their courage inspires us, and through this inspiration, we can find our way through the wildness of this world and reach our destination: total submission and devotion to the Beloved, Allah Most High. Our guides in this world are the prophets, martyrs, and saints. Their lives enlighten us. Their words inspire us. Their examples and stories uplift our spirits. Allah ta'ala mentions in the noble Qur'an "And all that We relate to you of the stories of the messenger is that by which We strengthen your heart. In these there has come to you truth and an admonition, and a reminder for the believers." (Qur'an 11:120) If the stories of the Messengers strengthen the hearts of the believers, then the story of the Master and Leader of all Messengers is the greatest means of doing so. Join us as we dig deep into the Life of the Beloved Prophet, Muhammad ﷺ, specifically the numerous trials and tribulations he faced during his blessed life and how the believers of this day and age can take an example from his noble example, take courage from his courage, take patience from his patience, and take perseverance from his perserverance in order to manage our own trials and tribulations. |
